Museum Night 2023

Mark your calendars: the 19th edition of the "European Night of Museums" will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023. From nightfall until 11 p.m., come and have fun at the museum!

On the program from 7 p.m.:

◾ "Flash visits" in the RVB Rouge Stephen King Vert Véronèse Bleu Maggie Nelson  exhibition but also in our collections: listen for a few minutes to find out everything about a work and/or an artist!

◾ Accordion, violin, cello, clarinet, harp will resonate in the museum thanks to the students of the Conservatoire de Lyon ! They will interpret pieces related to the objects and works of the museum for a sensitive and offbeat approach to our exhibitions.

> In the museum: two ensembles of fivesingers under the artistic direction of Jean Ribbe and three improvisation groups under the artistic direction of Raphaèle Biston
As part of the 1st edition of the festival SurgissementS, from May 11 to 17, 2023.

◾ Attend engraving demonstrations to perhaps make you want to get started!

◾ It will also be up to you: discover our workshop and try your hand at typography with our typographer.

◾ At the beginning of the evening, the children will talk to the children: as part of the device The class, the work, do not miss the interventions of the pupils  of the Condé school who become, the time of an evening, the museum guides and will make you discover the RGB exhibition through their eyes!
