Littérature Live, the international literature festival returns from May 16 to 22, 2022!
the inteThe Villa Gillet invites you to discover international literature, in Lyon and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. For a week, Littérature Live invites 50 authors of 22 different nationalities to large open-air discussions, conversations in bookstores, media libraries and cultural venues in the region. With the Villa Gillet site in Lyon as its new center of gravity, the festival unfolds in the Parc de la Cerisaie, and multiplies the forms of encounter between its audiences and contemporary literature: reading sessions to taste the texts of the invited authors , debates on current events around a coffee, exhibitions and sound installations echoing the programme, translation workshop, student web radio, public display.rnational literature festival returns from May 16 to 22, 2022!

(Re)discover the works of Lyon artist Yann Damezin. His work, exhibited at the museum in 2019 on the occasion of the temporary exhibition The Odyssey of Saved Books, is an invitation to travel through the centuries in the footsteps of annihilated, crushed and threatened books.
