Ibero-American typography
The Cervantes Institute exhibition, on display until November 15, presents, through ninety panels, the diversity and beauty of typographies created by designers from Spain, Portugal and other countries. Latin America. Each panel presents three distinctive aspects of a typographic work: a phrase or quote from an author of Ibero-American culture, accompanied by the complete alphabet and an overview of the typography.
Typography is not just a question of design, it is a central theme of our culture and our life, linked to writing, reading and expression. Discovering the typographies created by Ibero-American designers, disseminating them and highlighting them in order to contribute to character design becoming a culturally significant and economically sustainable activity, this is one of the ambitions of this sample of Ibero-American typography.
A graphic and typographic work that makes Latin America a reference region for current and future design.
